By the late 1400s, Leonardo da Vinci had produced over 100 drawings of his Ornihopter. Although da Vinci’s flying machine was never built in his lifetime, his concept was brilliant and is the basis of modern-day helicopter design.

Spanish Fork
Utah Helicopter conducts flight training at the Spanish Fork – Springville airport (U77) in Spanish Fork, UT. Set in the heart of beautiful Utah County just south of the Utah Lake shores...this is the perfect location for flight training. Providing excellent scenery and dynamic terrain, you will enjoy sightseeing just as much as learning to fly.
Our office building and classrooms are located just 0.5 miles away from our hangar and helicopters at 3450 North 56 East in Spanish Fork.

West Jordan
Utah Helicopter operates a second location at the Salt Lake City Municipal Airport (U42) in West Jordan, UT.
Centered in the Salt Lake Valley, this location offers great accessibility to prospective students in the Salt Lake area and beyond. Just a short flight away from Salt Lake International’s dense airspace and high traffic, it allows us to provide real world commercial pilot experience for our students.
The surrounding Rocky Mountains provide us with the perfect opportunity to instruct our students in high-altitude and mountain operations at both flight academy locations.
Offices and classrooms in Salt Lake are located on the airfield.
